All About Me

My name is Linda Mac Donald . I have taught at Austell for eight years. I am originally from New York but I have lived in Georgia for twenty two years.  I have my Master's degree from Lesley University.

Although I have taught other grades  I love kindergarten! It is such a wonderful period of growth for your child. It begins their  school career. I feel very honored to be a part of your child's life.

My husband George and I have been married for thirty one years. We have three children, Maureen,28, Rick, 25, and Mark, 23. Rick lives in Arizona . George and Mark and I visited Rick this summer . We spent one day in Sedona and that is where these photos were taken. Rick is engaged to be  married this winter and my future daughter in law is also a teacher.

Hello from Mrs. Stockwell

                  Kbuscolor

Welcome to a new school year at Austell Primary.  My name is Debra Stockwell and I am the paraprofessional working in the classroom with Mrs. MacDonald.  I have worked at Austell Elementary for 18 years and during that time I have earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education.  I have worked in the classroom with Mrs. MacDonald for the past 7 years and I have loved every minute of it.

I have been married to my husband for 29 years and lived in the city of Austell all this time.   We have 4 wonderful daughters.  I enjoy the small-town, laidback feeling living here and it has been a great place to raise my daughters.  I enjoy trips to the beach and doing home improvement projects in my home and yard.  I love arts and crafts and incorporating that creativity into the classroom.

I am so excited to be a part of your child's learning experience.    I hope to instill a love of learning into the children's hearts and to develop a relationship of mutual trust and respect.  I look forward to being partners with you, your child, and classroom teacher in your child's educational pursuits.
