Mrs. Jackson Kisses a Pig

In response to a challenge by our Relay for Life Committee, our principal promised to kiss a live pig at our Spring Fling if we raised $2500 for the cause. The school went above the goal and has raised over $3300 so far. 

The news team interviewed Mrs. Jackson about her intent to kiss the pig in March. On April 17th she kissed the pig at our Spring Fling. The children loved it! Please click below to see the broadcast.

The Spring Team Interviews Cupid

The Spring WLAM News team decided that, in honor of Valentine's Day, they would interview Cupid. The entire team voted and selected fellow-first grader, Chandler, to play the part of Cupid. Final Broadcast for the Fall Team

The 2008 Fall Team decided to trade places for their final broadcast. Braxton and Tayah became the anchors, MacKenzie and Faith the Special Reporters, Alexia and Jadon the Camera Operators, Glory the Director, and Tyreek the Mixer. We apologize for not having any recent postings. We have had a few technical glitches, but are now up and running. The students have continued to broadcast out news show school wide.
